Polyx®-Oil Anti-slip represents a superior formulation of floor finish designed specifically for interior wooden floors requiring enhanced slip resistance. This semi-matt, clear oil-based finish integrates fine, compressed organic particles uniformly distributed throughout the oil, which upon curing, achieves a slip resistance classified up to R11. This robust, hardwearing finish has been rigorously evaluated and has consistently demonstrated exceptional performance in reducing slip incidents across various settings.

 

One of the primary applications of Polyx®-Oil Anti-slip is on wooden stair treads, where enhanced traction is crucial. Additional Advice:

Polyx®-Oil Anti-slip has been tested for its anti-slip effectiveness. When applied correctly, and fully cured, the product has an anti slip rating of R11 which meet the requirements of the Australian Building Code for stairway treads and ramps.

Not recommended for use on oily and resinous timbers such as matai, heart rimu, totara, kwila.

Easy to apply. Do not sand between coats, as this will remove the anti-slip particles in the oil. Osmo’s 220mm floor brush with system handle is the recommended applicator. (The use of a roller is not recommended for applying this product).
